Branding photos are such a good way to showcase not just who you are, but where you work and what you do. When you shoot in your workplace, it allows you to highlight your environment, products, and tools all in one session. For Maggie’s branding shoot, we chose Kelaya Salon in Kalispell, which was a perfect fit because it’s where Maggie works and it perfectly reflects her style and the high-quality beauty services she offers.

Shooting on location at the salon gave us the chance to capture Maggie in her element—surrounded by the products she uses, her tools, and the overall vibe of the space. Winter Branding Pictures in Kalispell Montana

One of the best things about branding photos is that they can be done any time of year, indoors or outdoors, depending on the vibe you want for your shoot. Maggie’s session at Kelaya Salon in Kalispell was done during the winter, and since it was indoors, we didn’t have to worry about the cold weather. Indoor shoots are perfect if you want to showcase your workspace, products, or services, while not having to worry about bad weather at all!

That being said, outdoor shoots are always an option too, no matter the season! If your brand thrives in a natural or urban setting, outdoor photos can add a fresh, dynamic feel to your gallery. For example, pairing indoor photos of your workspace with a few outdoor shots near your location can create variety and give your brand personality. You can mix and match to create a collection of photos that truly represents you and your business.

Montana Business Branding Session Outfit Inspo

When it comes to dressing for your branding shoot, it’s all about reflecting your business and personal vibe. Whether you’re going for professional, casual, or something in between, your outfit should feel authentic to who you are and what your brand represents. For Maggie’s session, she kept it classic and timeless with a pair of Levi’s, black boots, and a couple different black tops to switch things up. The simplicity of her outfit made her look sleek and professional while still staying true to her easygoing personality and style.

Your branding session is a chance to showcase you, so think about what feels right for your business and the message you want to send. Don’t be afraid to let your personality through with what you choose to wear while still being cohesive with your business and brand. At the end of the day, the best outfits are the ones that make you feel confident and feel like you!!

Personalized Business Branding Pictures

Personalizing your branding shoot is what makes it uniquely yours and fully connected to your business. Incorporating tools, products, or details that are central to what you do helps tell your story and give clients a behind-the-scenes look at your work. For Maggie, we added those personal touches by including her business cards alongside the tools and products she uses every day.

These small details are what make branding photos feel authentic and intentional. Whether it’s your favorite tools, products with your logo, or even random props that reflect your business’s vibe, adding these elements makes your photos feel less generic and more you. It’s a great way to show off what you do in a way that’s professional, personal, and visually impactful.
